Hollie competes in the states

Hollie Thurgood became the first L1J supported athlete to compete in 2021 when she made her collegiate debut for Elon University in the Bob Davidson Memorial Invitation meeting in North Carolina last Friday.

Hollie threw the 600g javelin for the first time in competition achieving a distance of 33.25m to come 9th on the day.

It shouldn't be long before we have lots of performances to report from this side of the pond with many L1J supported athletes making their seasonal debut in the Winchester track and field meeting on the 11th April.
